I've Got Mail!

Here is the miniature sampler my partner in The Sampler Guild's exchange sent me.  Don't you love all the specialty stitches?

It's Finished Friday!

Here are my finishes - last week, I finished up this Adam and Eve for the company blog - the chart is there if you want to download it:

And here's my finish on the miniature sampler I did for the exchange with the UK Sampler Guild.  I hope my partner likes it - it's Nancy Sturgeon's (Threads Through Time) Checkered Pots Sampler.  I left in my mistakes, because I REALLY didn't want to have to rip out anything on the gauze.  I did, however, manage to keep the back tidy enough that I didn't have to fill in the background, which I think looks much nicer.

Mad Hatter Tea Party

This was so fun!  We had our Mad Hatter Tea Party at the Queen Mary!

Miss Becky as the Queen of Hearts.

I was the Mad Hatter, of course.  I made the lame-o hats out of paper, hahaha.
The food was really pretty!
That meringue mushroom was lovely (and delicious!)
Becky and Johnny both loved the cranberry scones - I was partial to the crumpets, myself!

All in all, a lovely day!

Finished Friday!

Here is my Pomegranate now nicely planted on top of a box.  Next step will be to paint the box (yes, that definitely IS the backwards way to go about it - would you expect anything less from me? hahahaha)

Pomegranate Freebie

Here's my version of the Pomegranate Freebie over at In the Company of Friends' Blog.

I used an upright cross over 8 threads for the gold network and then filled in each section with a red seed beed.  It just looks like those seeds are ready to spill out, doesn't it?
